Phase two of Bolagala Floating Resort commences; Here’s what to expect
Bolagala Floating Resort embarked on its second phase after 2 months since its inception. Mr. Kelum Perera, owner of the resort, stated that the architecture of the cabanas has been finalized and their work has commenced.
This news comes amidst growing anticipation that surrounds Sri Lanka’s first ever floating resort. The resort compromises of a total of 50 floating cabanas, 10 of which will be equipped with GPS tracking devices allowing them to move freely across the lake. Three of these 10 cabanas will be converted into suits.
The resort will feature a floating pool, island’s first ever under water spa, gym, tennis court that can be converted into a helipad, karaoke lounge and bar, electric cars to go around the resort and through a breathtaking water fall, and most importantly an organic farm.
These features were introduced following extensive research in order to provide luxury travelers an exceptional experience during their stay at the resort.
